PAMELA GALVIN - BACKSTREET TO BROADWAY
One Singer’s Walking Tour
NOVEMBER 9 - 18, 2007
FRIDAYS 8:00PM
SATURDAYS 7:00PM
SUNDAYS 2:00PM
TICKETS: $16/$14

Pamela Galvin’s one-woman “walking tour” of New York premieres this November with her Jazz Trio in a New York night club atmosphere! From humble beginnings in Minnesota, Pamela arrived in Manhattan as a self-described musical schizophrenic, careening between folk music, opera, musicals and cabaret in an adventure that took her from the Bowery to the Bronx and back again. Shooting commercials by day, studying with legendary acting gurus and lunatics by night, and lighting up stages from off-Broadway to Carnegie Recital Hall, Galvin’s career has been as fraught and exhilarating as Manhattan itself. Don’t miss this intimate, raucous and romantic tribute to Broadway and the City That Never Sleeps. Directed by Justin Blake.
